Anxiety
Including Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder and Adjustment Disorder with Anxiety
Everyone experiences anxiety from time to time. In fact, some level of anxiety can serve as a healthy component of motivation or initiative, and at times can help us respond to threats. However, for some, anxiety can arise with so much frequency and intensity that it interferes with enjoyment and function.
My individualized treatment approach involves the application of expertise in psychopharmacology and/or several different forms of psychotherapy. In my experience, once the negative patterns associated with anxiety are broken, not only are symptoms alleviated, but also, the individual is empowered with increased self-awareness and self-esteem.
